The Whipper-In was a coaching inn in the 17th Century, and is renowned for its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is a building of immense charm and character, the ancient oak beams complement the rich fabrics in warm hues. The hotel is situated on the Market Square of Oakham, the county town of Rutland; Britain's smallest county. The hotel has 24 bedrooms, which have been attractively decorated and furnished by interior designers.
